Privacy policy

This policy explains how wideview.social, the website of WideSocial, handles access requests and optional website analytics. We use no advertising cookies. Google Analytics runs on our public marketing pages only if you allow analytics.
Who is responsible
The controller is TSOKAS G. WIDEVIEW ENTERTAINMENT Ε.Ε., 58 Grigoriou Lampraki, 16675 Glyfada, Greece. Legal representative: Georgios Tsokas. Tax number (ΑΦΜ) 803334554, VAT ID EL803334554, General Commercial Registry (ΓΕΜΗ) 194800101000.
For anything about your data, write to info@wideview.co or call +30 210 2205089.
What we collect when you request access
When you send the access request form, we receive:
- your name and work email
- your company or brand
- the kind of team you work in
- your message, if you write one
- the language of the page you used
We also process your IP address for a short time, so we can limit how many requests come from one place and keep the form free of abuse.
Why we use it and on what legal basis
We use these details only to reply to your request and, if you wish, to show you the platform. This is a step you ask for before any contract, so the legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR.
Limiting requests by IP address and monitoring the site for errors serve our legitimate interest in running a secure, working service (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
How long we keep it
We keep your request until we have handled it, and for no longer than 12 months. IP addresses used to limit requests are kept only for a short period.
Who else processes it
Your details stay with us and with the providers that run the site on our behalf:
- Hetzner Online GmbH, whose servers in Germany (EU) host the site and our own database
- Cloudflare, Inc., whose object storage (R2) keeps media files in its EU jurisdiction, with the data stored in the EU
- Mailgun, which delivers the emails sent by the access request form
- Sentry, which records technical errors so we can fix them
- Google Ireland Limited and Google LLC, for optional Google Analytics only after your consent; your access request details are not sent to Google Analytics
The site and our database are hosted in Germany (EU). Mailgun, Sentry and Cloudflare are companies based in the USA, so personal data may be transferred there, even though Sentry is used in its EU region with a data centre in the EU and Cloudflare stores our media files in the EU. Such transfers rely on the provider's certification under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or on the European Commission's standard contractual clauses (Article 46 GDPR).
We do not sell your data and we do not share it for advertising.
Cookies
The functional cookie ws_lang remembers your chosen language for one year. We also store your analytics choice in your browser's local storage for up to 180 days. These preferences work even if you decline analytics.
Only after you select Allow analytics do we load Google Analytics and set its _ga and _ga_N1RL6NLTR3 cookies, for up to 180 days. Analytics measures visits to our public pages and successful access requests, along with technical information such as browser, device, language and approximate location. We remove query strings and fragments from page addresses, and do not send names, email addresses, messages or private platform links. Advertising features and Google signals are disabled. User and event data retention is set to two months.
You can decline analytics without affecting the website or the form, and change or withdraw your consent at any time using Cookie preferences in the footer. Withdrawal disables further analytics collection and removes these analytics cookies from this website. Google may process analytics data outside the EU under its applicable data processing terms and transfer safeguards. More information: https://policies.google.com/privacy.

Write to info@wideview.co and we will reply within the time the law sets. You can also lodge a complaint with the Hellenic Data Protection Authority at www.dpa.gr.
Automated decisions
No decision about you is made by automated means, and we do no profiling.
